As many people know that Hunter had his Race Season Opener last weekend at Gatorback MX track. March 18 and 19th 2023. He ran in the Open B class and the 450 B class. On Saturday his very first gate drop of the year he killed it on the line and so he was last one to come around the holeshot. If you know Hunter very well he doesnt do well when things like that happen so he was very aggressive to get up to the middle of the pack. So on Saturday Moto One Open B class he finished 14th. There was 16 in the class. Not where he wanted to finish but sometimes things like that happen. So Moto One of 450 B he finished in 10th out of 18 riders so better but still not where he wanted to be.There was one Moto where he got a good shot off the gate but, he popped a wheelie and was just riding it out.He never let out of it though. So going into Sundays Motos he was ready to have a better start and definitely a better finish. Sunday Open B class he finished 8th out of 16 and in 450B he finished 9th out of 18 riders. So he did do much better but still not where he wanted to be but with this being the season opener hopefully with more seat time and mindset we will get to where he wants to be. So for the weekend he finished Open B 11th overall and 10th overall in 450B. Next race will be in Texas at Underground Mx on April 8th and 9th. His goal is to continue to get faster and be up in the top 5 spots in both classes.Wanna give a Big shoutout to his sponsors for making his dreams possible Fly Racing, Rath Racing
