And just like that, the 2026 American Gasser’s Tri-City Dragway Car Show comes to a close. This year we saw 566 show car appearances and welcomed a record amount of spectators to the historic grounds. A huge thank you goes out to the crew at American Gasser for their incredible support in making this event possible. Also, we would like to thank our volunteers for helping to make this year’s event much better than the last.

We hope you enjoyed this year’s show as much as we enjoyed hosting it. Although show car numbers were down this year, we were glad you chose to spend the day with us. We were excited that traffic flow was much better, but, even with those improvements, our sights are still set on making 2027 even better. Please share your thoughts and suggestions in the comments as your feedback helps us to make each year better than the last!

From all of us at Tri-City Dragway, thank you for being part of this day. We’ll see you again at the historic grounds in 2027 and we’re excited for you to see all that will be accomplished throughout the next year!

ENTRANCE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CAR SHOW

Quick Rules
• Follow all volunteer/staff directions when entering and parking for an efficient check-in process.
• If you pre-registered, have your confirmation ready on your dashboard or available to show our volunteers for smooth traffic flow.
• If you want to park next to your friends, you MUST arrive together. Vehicles will be sent into the show in order as they arrive, so groups that split up on the way will likely be separated once inside.
• If your friend is not preregistered but you are, you must go in the day of registration line with them to park together (see "Entering the Event Space" for more details).
• This is strictly a car show. There should be no burnouts, drag racing, or unsafe vehicle operation of any kind. Violators will be trespassed from police on site and may receive citations.

Directions for Everyone
No matter which direction you're driving in from, plan your route so that you approach on Hospital Road, traveling south, and reach the show by turning right (west) onto Sarle Road. If the entry line is backed up on Hospital Road, hug the edge (right side) of Hospital Road so through-traffic and lines can still move.

Directions from the North
1. Take US-10 toward Freeland/Saginaw
2. Exit at Garfield Road and head south
3. Turn left onto Hotchkiss Road
4. Turn right onto South 8 Mile Road/Hospital Road
5. Continue south on Hospital Road. If the entry line is long, hug the right edge of Hospital Road
6. Turn right onto Sarle Road — the track entrance (7840 Sarle Rd) is ahead.

Directions from the South
1. Get onto Tittabawassee Road — via M-47 or I-75, depending on your starting point.
2. Head to South 7 Mile Road/Lawndale Road and go north.
3. Turn left onto Hotchkiss Road.
4. Turn left onto 8 Mile Road/Hospital Road.
5. Continue south on Hospital Road. If the entry line is long, hug the right edge of Hospital Road.
6. Turn right onto Sarle Road — the track entrance (7840 Sarle Rd) is ahead.

Entering the Event Space
At the end of Sarle Road, when entering the site, follow the directions of the volunteers on site. You'll be directed into the registration area, or staging lanes, (seen on the map in blue) and enter one of the six lanes based on your status.

• Lanes 1 & 2 – Pre-registered traffic
• Lanes 3 & 4 – Day-of-registration
• Lane 5 – Trailers and spectator vehicles
• Lane 6 – Opposite-direction traffic

Over the past 3 years we have worked with Jack’s Tree Service to get trees taken down on the property. As we have gained more property, Jeff and his team have always been willing to step in and help us clear. This year Jack’s Tree Service, again, came in to help out and opened up even more land for us to use. If you need a tree cut down, make sure to call the best in the business! We appreciate them for all they have done and look forward to continuing our partnership with them.

Now, check out these pictures of the last few years and see how Jack’s has transformed the historic dragstrip!
