Nine Ladies Dancing - Dance Academy Unleashing Dancers purest potential of the mind, body, and soul. Our school is a place where the joy of dance and community are celebrated.

Our purpose at Nine-Ladies Dancing Dance Academy is to manifest the fruits of the Sprit in our life’s and to fulfill the Great Commandment (Luke 10:27): To love and worship the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength through life, dance, and the arts. We want to be a blessing to our dancers who wish to develop their character as well as their dance technique. We are dedicated to providing a loving, encouraging, Christ-centered environment while training dancers to express their joy in dance to the world. Each student is encouraged to strive for their personal best in a non-competitive, accepting environment. We seek to foster an environment in which students are lovingly challenged in their pursuit of artistic excellence and are nurtured along the path to maturity. Our highly qualified faculty and staff share in this vision for students. When you join Nine-Ladies Dancing Dance Academy family, as a student or parent, it’s our hope that you will not only discover a love for the creative art of dance, but that you will be inspired to continue on a lifelong journey of discovering a love for the One who created it.

This week is costume dress up week at NLD, time to pick out some costumes!! Dancers can wear an old recital costume or dress up costume to class if they like!🦸‍♀️👨‍🚀

We do ask they wear a Leo and tights still for going upside down or if they get hot and want to take it off.

No scary costumes please with all the little kids we have at the studio.😊

We can't wait to see all the cute costumes!😍

We look at this big, beautiful room and dream about all the dancers who fill it. 💙

We love to hear their laughter, see their friendships grow, and watch them discover what they can do. More than anything, we want them to know Jesus—to know how deeply He loves them and that they can worship Him through dance.

Our hope is that this room is full of life all week long. That dancers look forward to coming here, feel loved when they walk through the doors, and know they belong.

We’ve poured so much into this space because we believe God can do something beautiful here. And we love to see it filled with the people He brings. 💙

We’ve made incredible progress cleaning out the back room at the studio, and… LOOK AT ALL THIS FLOOR SPACE! 🤩🙌

There’s finally room to spread out, dream big, and let the creativity flow! Giant props, dazzling costumes, trophies, hot glue guns, running in circles, and plenty of theatrical fun are all part of the magic. 🎭✨

There’s still a little organizing left to do, but uncovering this much floor feels like a huge accomplishment—and the perfect space for even more creativity, laughter, and unforgettable adventures! 🧹💃🎨

Want to be part of the magic of recital AND get a special view of your dancer on stage? We need your help! Our backstage volunteers are an essential part of making the Nutcracker run smoothly, and we would LOVE to have you join us! 💗

✨ HERE’S WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU VOLUNTEER:

🎟️ FREE admission to the show you volunteer for! Since you’ll be working backstage, you won’t need a ticket to watch that show.

🩰 A front-row view from the wings! You’ll be assigned a class to supervise, help dancers get ready for their dances, and walk with them to watch from the wings when it’s their turn to perform. You’ll get to see your dancer up close in a way most audience members don’t! The rest of the time you will be backstage helping take care of your dancer and their class in the dressing room making sure they are ready for any and all dances that class is in!

🍽️ Volunteer for TWO back-to-back shows (Yellow & Pink or Pink & Blue), and we’ll provide you with a meal in between shows! Volunteer for ALL THREE shows and we’ll provide both lunch and dinner!

For dancers who are in all 3 shows because they are in party scene, volunteering for two shows is a great way to get them where they need to go, check on them, and still watch them in a chair one show!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
📅 Dress Rehearsal: Friday, December 11
🎭 Recital Day: Saturday, December 12

🟡 Yellow Show: 10:00 AM
🩷 Pink Show: 2:00 PM
🔵 Blue Show: 6:00 PM

Volunteers are needed for BOTH dress rehearsal and recital day to help their assigned class stay organized, get into costumes, and be ready to take the stage!

💻 VOLUNTEER MEETING: Tuesday at 7:00 PM on Zoom! No need to come into the studio.

❤️ We truly cannot put on this show without our amazing volunteers! If you love being involved, want to help your dancer have a wonderful recital experience, and would enjoy watching the magic from backstage, this is the perfect opportunity to be part of the action!

She has jumped right in, taken to everything so naturally, and been such a huge help to our team already. 🎉 Happy Birthday, Miss Gabi!🎉

We are so blessed to have Gabi as part of our NLD family! ❤️ She is not only an incredible dancer, but also a kind, warm, and caring teacher who makes such a difference in the lives of her students. Her strong faith and the way she lives it out are a beautiful example to the dancers around her, reminding them that dance is about so much more than steps, it’s about glorifying God in everything we do!

We are so thankful for the heart, talent, and faith she brings to our studio. Help us wish Miss Gabi the happiest of birthdays! We love and appreciate you! 💕🎂

We know recital season can feel like there are a LOT of dates and details to keep track of, so we put together a quick visual guide to help our dance families know what to expect throughout the season.

From costume fees and costume try-ons to picture week, dress rehearsal, and recital day, these graphics give you the important dates all in one place!

More detailed recital information, including class-specific schedules and what dancers need to bring/wear, will be shared as we get closer to each event.
