On Friday May 8th, members of the Middle School Art Club visited both Frank Lloyd Wright's Martin House and the Buffalo AKG Art Gallery. Students took guided tours at each location and created in a stained glass inspired workshop at the Martin House. It was an amazing trip and students had a great time.

This field trip was funded by both E2CCB Arts in Education funds and the NYS Connect Kids to Parks Field Trip Grant Program (The Martin House is eligible).

Over the next month we will be spotlighting seniors who have spent part of their high school careers pursuing art. These students went above the graduation requirements, taking multiple studios and exploring a variety of media.

Today's spotlight is Charlotte Caserta, who took Studio 1, Drawing 1 & 2, Photo 1, Sculpture 1 (twice), and Painting 2 during her time at Fredonia.

She is also graduating with her IAAP (Individual Arts Assessment Pathway) Seal after completing a portfolio over the last three years and submitting it for Regents credit.

We are so proud of your hard work Charlotte!
