Bullying is not “just part of growing up.” Its effects can last a lifetime—and sometimes, they become permanent.

At Miss Keystone State Rodeo, we believe rodeo should be a place where everyone feels welcomed, respected, and valued. There is simply no place for bullying in our arenas, on our social media, behind the chutes, or in our communities.

That is why we are honored to recognize Noah's Legacy Project, a valued sponsor of our partner rodeo company, Bullride Mania Rodeo Company.

Noah’s Legacy Project was founded in memory of Noah Geiwitz, a talented high school baseball player who tragically lost his life to su***de on April 19, 2022, after enduring bullying. Noah had dreams of playing baseball at the collegiate level and giving back to young athletes. Today, his legacy lives on through a mission to raise awareness about bullying, promote mental health education, support youth in sports, and provide resources for first responders who face trauma every day.

Owner Greg and the rest of the Bullride Mania Rodeo Company personnel have made it clear that they stand with Noah’s Legacy Project, the Miss Keystone State Rodeo Organization & Queens in believing that bullying has no place in our rodeo community. We are proud to partner with organizations that share our commitment to kindness, respect, sportsmanship, and looking out for one another.

Whether you’re a contestant, a parent, a volunteer, or a fan, remember that your words matter. A simple act of kindness can change someone’s day—and sometimes, it can change a life.

Alexys McGovern, Miss Teen Keystone State Rodeo, says:

“A simple few words or actions can have a lasting impact. Choosing kindness over cruelty is priority. Stand up for others, lift people up, and bring people together. Rodeo is something meant to create strong, positive relationships, not enemies. Don’t be the reason someone doesn’t want to wake up tomorrow, eat their meals, or go out and do something they love. Be the good. Be the change. But never … be the bully.”

Let’s continue building a rodeo community where every person is treated with dignity, encouraged to succeed, and reminded that they belong.

Sundance Arena is incredibly proud to be a sponsor of the Mercer County Track and Field Invitational taking place today at New Wilmington High School. There’s nothing more rewarding than being a small part of making kids dreams come true.
