Here are the non-negotiable client responsibilities that turn good work into jaw-dropping, “I wake up like this” perfection:
1️⃣ Follow pre-care to the letter
No alcohol, caffeine, blood thinners, or retinol for 48–72 hrs before. Healthy, hydrated skin = pigment grabs better and heals smoother.
2️⃣ Show up with realistic expectations
PMU enhances — it doesn’t replace makeup entirely. The more open and honest you are during consultation, the more I can tailor it to YOUR face & lifestyle.
3️⃣ Commit to aftercare like it’s your full-time job (for the first 10–14 days)
No touching, no extended water on the area, no makeup, no sun, no sweating, no picking/scabbing. This is the #1 reason for perfect color retention!
4️⃣ Attend your 6–8 week touch-up
90% of clients need this second session for full color saturation and shape perfection. Skipping it is like baking a cake and forgetting the frosting 😭
5️⃣ Protect your investment long-term
Daily SPF on brows/lips, gentle skincare, and annual color boosts keep your PMU looking fresh for 2–4 years.
