For the month of September, Sheila Jones is the featured artist at Art First with her photographic works. Her show is entitled “Helping Hand”. All proceeds from the show go to the Law Enforcement United charitable organization.

The reception for Sheila’s show is First Friday, September 4th, from 6PM to 9PM. It is also Sheila’s birthday and there will also be cake. Art First is located at 824 Caroline Street in downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Goolrick’s Pharmacy, established in 1869, was having a soft open today. Art First artists Wayne Russell, Patti Durbin and Patricia Giovannoni were able to go over for lunch. Here are pictures of Patricia and Patti at the counter as well as Goolrick’s classic egg salad sandwich and vanilla milkshake.

Goolrick’s is across the street from Art First and Goolrick’s will re-open at 11AM on First Friday, August 7th,

Art First’s regular hours are Thursday through Sunday from 11 AM to 5PM. We will also be open on First Friday from 6PM -9PM.
