What an incredible inaugural week here in Fredericksburg! We are so proud of everything our faculty, participants, and volunteers created together — and so grateful to the Fredericksburg community for welcoming us.

To our participants: your professionalism and musicianship left us truly speechless. You are the future of classical music, and we can't wait to see where your journeys take you.

To our Artist Faculty: you are the most caring, kind and fun group of virtuoso musicians I have ever had the pleasure of working with!

To our community partners: St. Joseph's Halle, Rockbox Theater (official), InSight Gallery, St. Barnabas Church, Western Edge Cellars, Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, Saint Mary's School, Fredericksburg High School Band, and Schreiner University, thank you for hosting our rehearsals, donating spaces and loaning instruments.

To our Artist Faculty hosts: Thank you for opening your guest houses, homes, and spaces to our visiting Artist Faculty. Without your help, this festival would not have been possible.

To our volunteers: none of this happens without you. Thank you for every errand run, every chair and stand moved, every snack set out, every ticket taken. You are the backbone of this festival.
To our Fredericksburg Community Orchestras board members: This event ran smoothly because of your dedication and volunteering.

And to my Administrative Assistant: Marissa Dodson, I could have never done this without you. ❤️🎻🌈

This is just the beginning of something very special in the Texas Hill Country. 🤠🎻

The 2026 Fredericksburg Summer Music Institute is a wrap! Here are some pics of the final day, which ended with a rousing sold-out concert in St. Joseph's Halle. We thank everyone for their support and hope to see you next year.

Bad News & Better News!
Our Festival finale concert is sold out, but you can RSVP for our dress rehearsal if you still want to experience the music. This is a rehearsal so there will be some work done on the music. In case you missed a chance to get tickets, you can still hear the music and see the musicians. Hope to see you somewhere on Saturday!
