Gouda had triplets! These was Gouda's first time having kids.. so 3 is ALOT. MEET WAYLON.. he was the smallest of the triplets and left to fend for himself as she mothered the other 2. Waylon became a house goat for 1 week where he was pampered. We used a blow dryer to get his core body temperature to rise, a few meds, milk from Gouda every few hours and lots of prayers! Long time tour volunteer, Janette Brincks was a wealth of knowledge on how to save him. Waylon has since rejoined his siblings and is now loved by Gouda too.
He will likely be the goat that travels to a few schools this year for ag education! Everyone loves Waylon, right?

Jerry's wife, Louise Philipp was an amazing tour volunteer sharing her spinning wheel talent and wisdom with wool and Angora rabbit fur. Louise was also one of my old 4H leaders while Jerry worked in the county extension office.
