Beginning Tuesday, September 8th, Umbiance Center for the Performing Arts is opening our studio during the day with classes created especially for our homeschool community!
Give your student an opportunity to move, create, build confidence, develop discipline, and connect with other young people — all while learning the art of dance.

This is why we do what we do.
Dance is more than choreography. When movement is connected to purpose, our students begin to understand Who they are dancing for.
And sometimes the greatest testimony comes from a parent watching that understanding take root. ❤️

WEDNESDAY — MORE THAN EIGHT COUNTS ❤️🖤💛

Dance teaches so much more than 5-6-7-8…
Every time a dancer walks into the studio, something is being developed that goes far beyond choreography.
Confidence is being built.
Discipline is being strengthened.
Bodies are learning coordination and control.
Minds are learning focus and retention.
Students are learning how to receive correction, work through frustration, and KEEP GOING.
And somewhere between the first count and the final pose… growth happens.

That’s why at Umbiance, we believe dance training is about developing the WHOLE dancer.
