The William & Mary Choir

Hark, the Students' Voices Swelling! In addition, the Choir performs full-length concerts throughout the year, locally, regionally and internationally.

The Choir, a mixed choral ensemble of approximately sixty-five students, is the official voice of the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Directed by Dr. Daniel Parks, the William and Mary Choir is made up of both music majors and non-majors at the College of William and Mary. The Choir performs regularly for official College functions including Opening Convocation, the Yule Log

Ceremony, and Commencement. In May and June of 2011, the Choir and Botetourt Chamber Singers toured Italy and Greece, with outstanding success. The "Kwah" (as it is affectionately known) is also a dynamic social organization, fostering friendship through music and in the W&M community. We want to extend a HUGE shoutout to this year’s donors for our annual cabaret fundraiser! Every year, we reach out to local business to see if they are willing to donate goodies from their businesses for our silent auction. The Whale Tea store is also a returning donor, so special thanks to them as well! We appreciate all the donations we have received this year & are so thankful!

Today on the second day of our tour, we had the pleasure of rehearing with and getting to know the University of Mary Washington’s Chamber Choir! We can’t wait to sing with them TONGHT at our Fredericksburg show!
