The Choir, a mixed choral ensemble of approximately sixty-five students, is the official voice of the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Directed by Dr. Daniel Parks, the William and Mary Choir is made up of both music majors and non-majors at the College of William and Mary. The Choir performs regularly for official College functions including Opening Convocation, the Yule Log
Ceremony, and Commencement. In May and June of 2011, the Choir and Botetourt Chamber Singers toured Italy and Greece, with outstanding success. The "Kwah" (as it is affectionately known) is also a dynamic social organization, fostering friendship through music and in the W&M community.
