It genuinely puzzles me.

Many of the biggest creators on the internet—like Markiplier, PewDiePie, CaseOh, and Dr Disrespect—are well known for using strong language, getting frustrated on stream, or having moments of intense emotion. Despite that, millions of people still watch their content, including younger audiences.

Yet it often feels like when a small Minecraft creator with a modest audience says something as mild as "damn" or "ass," they're judged far more harshly and treated as though they've crossed an unforgivable line.

I'm not saying creators should be free from accountability. What I don't understand is the apparent double standard. Why do established creators receive so much grace for behavior that's considered acceptable or "just part of their personality," while smaller creators can be heavily criticized over comparatively minor language?

It's a standard that feels inconsistent, and it's worth talking about.
