I find that if things in my life start to get out of sync, it drives my need to create. Even as a child, I found this to be true. If I was bored, I often felt guilty for not taking the opportunity to develop something. I have explored many different types of art over the years from wood carving, acrylics, watercolors, pen and ink, cold glass, warm glass and glass blowing. Of them all, glass blowin
g is my favorite because it is a perfect mixture of creativity and skill to develop something that can also be functional. It is an expensive hobby, though, and so when I can't get into the glass studio, I paint or find other creative outlets.
