I'm so happy to have been invited back to the Crozet Artisan Depot as the September guest artist! My show is all set up and I brought paintings in various sizes as well as note cards and prints so there's something for everyone! A meet-the-artist reception is planned for Saturday, September 12th 11am-1pm. Come on out and say hi, check out beautiful jewelry from Barbara Paul (she's also exhibiting during September), and wander through the Depot to see unique and wonderful art from many other Virginia-based artists. Sold! I had planned to take "Dusk Over Shenandoah" to Crozet in September for my show at the Crozet Artisan Depot but that changed. When a painting has deep personal meaning to someone, they need to have it. Thank you Brooke for connecting with this piece. ❤️

I painted it to be part of my Blue Ridge Series, so when it sold I decided to paint another similar (not identical) piece, and that one will be going with me to Crozet in September.

"Beachfront" 12x4x1.5 acrylic on canvas. I haven't painted on this size canvas before and I like it! But painting a 1/2" tall beach house was a challenge 😁. This is one of the small pieces heading out to my show at the Crozet Artisan Depot in September.

"Over Under" 30x15x1.5 acrylic on canvas. With this painting I was trying to show that there is a lot more going on than what we see on the surface - literally here, with above ground and under ground. But I guess it applies to so many other things - people, situations, ice bergs 😁, etc.

Our "Pieced Together" art show at CB Creative Art Center is winding down. This is the last weekend to get out and see pottery by Pat Nixon-Gwin and paintings by me! Thanks again to the Colonial Beach Artists Guild for inviting us to exhibit.

Sold! "Storm Rising" was purchased at Canal Quarter Arts earlier this week. Thanks to the person who came in to check out the gallery and decided to take this little painting home with them. 😊
