Great turnout today at McKay Used Books Virginia… blessed to sell 18 copies of my books today, including a special edition box set I put together to gauge interest! Got to reconnect with old friends and make a few new ones! Favorite part of this is meeting folks at events and getting to just talk about my story with them.

Local author Miguel DeJesus Jr. will be selling, promoting, and talking about the Cadet series! Come on down to McKay’s to say hello!

Cadet is a three book series that following a trio of teens days away from graduating from one of Earth’s remote military academies, when it is suddenly and viciously attacked by an unknown foe. The surviving cadets flee on the only starship left, and are forced to crash on an unexplored world filled with its own danger and mystery. But the invaders are desperate to track down the cadets before they can warn the rest of humanity, and will stop at nothing to find them.

Miguel was born in Connecticut, and raised in South Florida, Miguel served honorably in the United States Navy for over twenty years as an intelligence specialist. His love of Science Fiction paved the way for a path of immersion in the genre. It was his wife Stephanie who encouraged him to explore his own imagination and bring forth a universe that he could share with others. Today, Miguel continues bringing his universe to life at home in Virginia with his wife and their two sons, Lucas and Gabriel.
