$230k of taxpayer money spent to try to get the Amish to vaccinate their kids. Many Amish refuse all vaccines and have caused recent outbreaks of measles and chicken pox... diseases that have mostly been eradicated in the general population. People with immune disorders are put at heightened risk due to the anti-vax sentiment amongst the Amish.

Here are two letters written by Saloma Hershberger, a 22 year old Amish gal from Shreve who was busted back in November for breaking the law by driving a buggy with no flashing light on it. The first handwritten letter was to request that her case be dismissed because, basically, her bishop told her to violate the law and just do what he tells her to do instead (clearly justified by some Bible verses). Surprisingly, this did not work and she pled "no contest" and was found guilty. The second note was sent to Judge Timothy Vansickle of the Wayne County Municipal Court to explain why she has still not paid her fine. She was granted a 90 day extension and might have her driver's license suspended, which she probably never had anyway.

Angus Beef has purchased this house on Friendsville Rd in Wooster, adjacent to their current location. It includes 4.5 acres.

The selling price was $990,000.

The sellers were Peter J. Short, James M. Richard, Dale D. Richard, and Sally J Schreck. The sellers still own the remaining land on both sides of Friendsville Rd up to Smithville Western Rd.

How convenient that deputies claimed it was necessary to beat this man into submission, but there is no video of the incident because one deputy "didn't have time to turn on his body camera" and the other deputy's camera "malfunctioned" and didn't save any video.
