Wednesdays: September 9th through October 28th
1pm to 3pm at Give Rise Studio

How does our neighborhood shape the people who live in it?
Civic Roots takes civics out of textbooks and into the streets, meeting halls, and community spaces where young people can witness democracy in action. Over eight weeks, students will map their neighborhoods, meet local leaders, practice empathy through service, and leave with real-world skills.

Art & Voices: Celebrating Different Artists and Their Stories for Ages 5-10 at Give Rise Studio with Katie Giganti

In this monthly gathering, young artists will discover how people throughout history used art to share their feelings, tell their stories, and help others understand important ideas about fairness, friendship, and belonging. We'll meet artists from many backgrounds—minority creators, LGBTQ+ voices, and artists with different kinds of minds—and then make art inspired by what we learn.

We hope you go out and enjoy the Pride festival and maybe join us to round out your evening with creativity and dance with our live DJ Owlfeather mixing.

Mixed is a collaborative experience between Owlfeather and Give Rise Studio - this is our second one and we can't wait to schedule our next one.
