Here’s an update on my tendinitis. I’ve rested my thumb for almost two weeks, and thankfully, it’s feeling much better! ❤️

I decided to pick up my crochet hook and some yarn and give it a try. I could still feel a little pain, but it wasn’t nearly as bad. I stopped for a day and a half and then picked it up again.

And look what I made! 🥰🎃👻

A cute little pumpkin/ghost rearview mirror ornament! I had so much fun getting back to crocheting, even if I’m taking it slow.

Hello, friends! ❤️

Saturday night, my thumb started hurting, but I didn’t think much of it. I figured I’d wake up Sunday morning and it would be better. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. In fact, it hurt even more.

Today, I noticed it was swollen and starting to turn red. At first, I thought, “I’ll just order a brace, and I’ll be good to go.” But as the day went on, I did a little research and decided it was best to see a doctor.

I’m so glad I did. I was diagnosed with tendinitis and now need to follow up with an orthopedic specialist.

For now, I’m learning to do things with my left hand… and let me tell you, it’s like trying to use a completely different part of my brain! 😂 Hopefully, with some rest and the right treatment, I’ll be back to crocheting soon. 🧶❤️

Has anyone else dealt with tendinitis? I’d love to hear any tips that helped during your recovery.

Check out these adorable jellyfish! They were made using two different types of yarn. One is made with Bernat Blanket yarn for a soft, plush look, and the other is made with acrylic yarn, which gives it a different texture and style.
