Today I’m taking a break from supervising pottery and aggressively judging the mail carrier to celebrate International Women’s Day.
I’ve been thinking about all the incredible women who make my little Chihuahua world go ‘round. The women who work hard, create beautiful things, run businesses, hold families together, and somehow still find time to give me snacks. Frankly, the multitasking alone deserves a standing ovation… or at least an extra treat.
A very special bark-out goes to Auntie Shannon and Grammy JoAnn — two of the strong, smart, and wonderfully kind women in my life. They’ve proven that compassion, determination, and a good sense of humor can move mountains… and occasionally a stubborn Chihuahua off the couch.
So today we celebrate the women who lead, create, nurture, inspire, and generally keep the rest of us from making terrible decisions. (Looking at you, dad jokes and questionable pottery glaze choices.)
