心の指導者を意味するブランドNagual(ナグァール)

カリフォルニア出身のデザイナー Joseph Bortoli氏によって1995年にスタートした。

ガラス職人やA&Gなどの経歴を持つ彼は、ゴシックテイストが主流な中、古代メキシコのピラミッドやアステカ文明などのよりエスニックな物からインスピレーションを得て、それをシルバーアクセサリーにデザインを落とし込んだ。

オブシディアンやラブラドライトなど他では中々見ないアイテムがあるのは個人的にとても好きなポイント。

また彼はヒコ・みづのジュエリーカレッジで教鞭を取っていたこともある。

彼に教えてもらえるなんてとても羨ましく思う。

話は変わりますが現在参考にしているマガジンの彼のレビューの中に、こんな一文を見つけた。

「シルバーアクセサリーは、流行に振り回されないで、本来の自分に戻って、これはいいな、魅力的だな、と素直に思えるものを身に付けるのがいいですね。」

…皆様もしかしたらそれは、このNagualかもしれませんよ😉

This time we’d like to introduce Nagual, one of the brands we named yesterday!

Nagual the brand meaning leader of the heart

Started in 1995 by California-based designer Joseph Bortoli.

Starting as a glass artisan and then a designer @ A&G, he drew inspiration from ancient Mexican pyramids and the Aztec civilization and design them into silver accessories, while Gothic tastes were mainstream.

My personal favorite point is that there are items you don’t see in obsidian and labradorite.

He also was an International SenSei or Teacher at Hiko Mizu’s Jewelry College.

I’m so envious that I was able to learn from him.

Story changes but I found this in his review of the magazine I’m currently referencing.

“Silver accessories should not be swayed by trends, go back to your original self, and wear something that you honestly think is good, attractive, and honestly. “
.. Guys maybe it’s this Nagual 😉
