on. Weekly Classes with Fresh, Engaging Content
Each week, Young Rembrandts presents brand-new lessons, ensuring that every class is fresh, exciting, and educational. Our innovative, step-by-step curriculum introduces children to essential drawing techniques and skills in a fun and engaging way. Your child will experience hands-on learning that keeps them actively engaged and motivated. Young Rembrandts programs emphasize the importance of drawing as the foundation of all visual arts. Throughout the program, children will learn core skills that will not only enhance their artistic abilities but also build their confidence and foster a sense of accomplishment. The classes are structured to allow students to grow and improve, while creating lasting memories through their artwork. An Inclusive and Supportive Environment
The programs are designed to accommodate children at various skill levels, recognizing that artistic development is an individual journey. Whether a child is just beginning to explore art or already has some experience, Young Rembrandts provides a supportive environment where they can thrive. We believe that artistic abilities are shaped by personal progress, not age, and our goal is to inspire each child to reach their full potential. Skills Development and Art Appreciation
Through structured lessons, your child will learn about design, composition, and illustration. The Young Rembrandts step-by-step drawing method builds their technical skills while fostering creativity. In addition to developing drawing and coloring techniques, students will explore art history and learn about master artists. This holistic approach helps children gain a deeper appreciation for art and its rich history. A Sense of Pride in Their Work
The artwork your child brings home is 100% their own creation—from the initial pencil sketch to the final touches of coloring. Each lesson is designed to be age-appropriate and tailored to the child's artistic development, ensuring steady progress throughout the session. The goal is to see consistent improvement in your child's skills while helping them build self-confidence in their abilities as young artists. Seasonal Classes to Boost Artistic Growth
Every season, Young Rembrandts offers new classes that focus on refining drawing techniques, enhancing color theory, and boosting self-confidence. This approach fosters both skill development and a positive mindset, empowering children to feel proud of their artistic journey and accomplishments. We offer weekly preschool and elementary classes, special workshops on days schools are closed or special occasions like Mother's Day, spring break and summer break camps, as well as Art Comes To School or Camp programs. Raggedy Ann and Andy Day, celebrated on June 12, is a day that pays tribute to the two cartoon and book characters that became a phenomenon in the U.S. The journey of the characters started with the Raggedy Ann doll who was the favorite childhood companion of every young girl in the country. From there, the character was introduced into books and then cartoons. And of course, this is how Raggedy Andy came into being!

Donald Duck Day marks June 9, 1934, when Donald Duck made his animated debut in the Silly Symphony short “The Wise Little Hen” — launched a career that would make him one of the world’s most recognized fictional characters, with more than 150 comic book appearances translated into 75 languages.
But he wouldn’t meet Mickey Mouse until his second appearance in “Orphan’s Benefit” later that year. From there, it wasn’t long before Daisy Duck and his nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie were introduced.
Donning his signature blue sailor suit with no pants, Donald Duck has appeared in more short films and feature films than any other Disney character. It is the diverse nature of his character that has allowed him to be featured in a plethora of roles, from an army officer and a teacher to an uncle to three ducklings.

World Oceans Day, celebrated annually on June 8, was first proposed in 1992 and officially recognized by the United Nations in 2008.
World Oceans Day originated at the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, where Canada, through its International Centre for Ocean Development and the Ocean Institute of Canada, proposed a day to honor the oceans and raise awareness about their importance to life on Earth and global ecosystems.
The initial goal was to bring the oceans to the forefront of international discussions, strengthen the voice of ocean and coastal constituencies, and encourage sustainable management of marine resources.
