✨🖤 WE HAVE SOME BIG NEWS… WHIMSY IS MOVING! 🖤✨
This is one of those posts that feels a little surreal to write. 🥹
What started as a little idea, a whole lot of creativity, and a dream has grown into something I never could have imagined — and YOU are the reason.
Every workshop you’ve attended.
Every project you’ve painted.
Every friend you’ve brought through our doors.
Every post you’ve shared.
Every event you’ve supported.
Every time you chose to spend your evening creating with us…
You helped build Whimsy into what it is today. ❤️
And now, we’re getting ready for our BIGGEST ADVENTURE YET…
🎉✨ WHIMSY IS MOVING TO EASTERN MARKET! ✨🎉
Yes… THAT Eastern Market! 😭🙌
I am equal parts excited, terrified, emotional and absolutely READY for this next chapter.
Eastern Market feels like such an incredible fit for everything Whimsy has grown to become — a place to create, gather, shop, laugh, try something new and make memories together. And I cannot WAIT to bring all of the color, creativity, workshops, fun and WHIMSY to Detroit! 🎨🖤
But before my Macomb County friends start panicking… 😂❤️
WE ARE NOT SAYING GOODBYE TO FRASER JUST YET!
Our Fraser store will remain OPEN THROUGH THE END OF DECEMBER, and we have SO MUCH planned between now and then!
That means more workshops. More events. More crafting. More laughing. More memories. And one very special final holiday season in the space that has been home to so many wonderful moments. 🥹🎄
And even after we make the move, I don’t want to say goodbye to Macomb County! ❤️
One of my goals is to find a location where we can come back and host a BIG WHIMSY WORKSHOP at least once a month in Macomb County! 🎨🙌
So I NEED YOUR HELP!
👀 Do you know of a great location in Macomb County that would have enough space for a LARGE group of us to get crafty together?
A hall, event space, restaurant with a large private room, community center… somewhere that could handle a whole bunch of Whimsy people, projects, paint and probably a little chaos. 😂🎨

Because while Whimsy may be getting a new home, I don’t want our Macomb County crew to feel like we’re leaving you behind. You’ve been such a huge part of this journey, and I want you to be part of what comes next, too. 🥹
I know leaving Fraser is going to be emotional. This little shop has held SO many memories — friendships have been made here, birthdays celebrated, projects proudly carried out the door, and more laughter than I could ever count.
But sometimes the scariest changes are the ones that lead you exactly where you’re supposed to go. ❤️
So this isn’t really a goodbye.
It’s a “LOOK WHERE WE’RE GOING NEXT!” 🥂✨
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for supporting this crazy little dream and allowing it to keep growing.
