Disney just dropped a two-park ticket deal, and honestly? The timing is chef’s kiss.
Epcot + Animal Kingdom on one ticket, with start dates from August 3 through September 30. You get 2 days, 2 parks, and 4 days to use them from your start date. Here’s why I’m excited about this one, and how I’d actually plan it.
Check in and head straight to a water park. Disney’s water parks (Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach) aren’t included in this ticket, but with the right resort package, they can be. That’s essentially a third day of fun built right into your trip without adding another theme park day. August heat + a water park = the right call.
Day 1: Animal Kingdom: Bluey fans, this is your moment. Bluey World and Jumping Junction are open. If you have little ones (or honestly, if you’re just a Bluey household), this alone is reason enough to get there before summer ends. Animal Kingdom has always been a favorite for immersive storytelling, and this new land takes it to another level.
Day 2: Epcot. I don’t know how else to say it — Epcot is just fantastic. Cool Kids Summer is still going strong with GoofyCore at CommuniCore Hall, Soarin’ Across America, and then Food and Wine starts at the end of August. Plus the multitude of indoor rides and the Moana Journey of Water will keep you cool in that summer heat.
And resort deals are still going strong at the end of the summer, which means you can put together a really solid trip without the peak July price tag. Not to mention - 4 of the WDW resorts have Cool Kid Summer Activities that may make a full resort day just make sense.
This window is perfect for families whose kids go back to school in September, homeschool families with flexible schedules, or anyone looking for a long weekend that actually feels like a real trip. 3 days of fun, 2 park days, one great deal.
