Franklinton Area Community Theatre (F.A.C.T.) We produce two shows each year. Founded in August of 2004, FACT has grown to include over sixty active members.

Franklinton Area Community Theater (FACT) is a nonprofit youth theater group that is open to anyone from five-years-old to eighteen-years-old and currently includes youth from Franklin and surrounding counties. Franklinton Area Community Theater (FACT) is a nonprofit children’s theater group that is located in Franklinton, North Carolina and meets at the new (2011) Franklinton High School. The mis

sion of FACT is to provide local youth an opportunity to express themselves through theater arts. Youth interested in theater, including performing on stage, directing, stage management, technical support and set design can find wonderful opportunities through FACT. FACT is open to anyone that would like to participate and currently includes youth from Franklin County Public Schools, local private schools, and home schools as well as youth from surrounding areas. Actors presently range from five-years-old to eighteen-years-old. Parents are also encouraged to get involved by helping manage different aspects of the plays including supervision, costumes, and publicity. The group works to make theatre an enjoyable method of self-expression for each child. Students grow in self-confidence, verbal skills, and artist expression. FACT has presented a wide variety of plays including Godspell, The Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, Into the Woods, Seussical, The Pied Piper, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Little Mermaid and Dr. DoLittle to name a few. In addition to presentations to the public, FACT provides free presentations to Franklin County elementary students.

We are thrilled to officially announce the Franklinton Area Community Theatre 2026-2027 Season! Get ready for a year filled with pure imagination, big dreams, and unforgettable stage magic. 🎭✨

🍬 Fall 2026: Step into a world of pure imagination with W***y Wonka! Follow Charlie Bucket as he tours the most magnificent chocolate factory in the world. It’s a scrumdiddlyumptious musical treat for the whole family!

👑 Spring 2027: Keep wishing upon that star! Join us for Dare to Dream Jr., an inspiring and magical journey that will have you believing in the power of your own dreams.
