The next time you visit Cowee School Arts & Heritage Center, be sure to check out the new kiosk! The three panels celebrate the history of the Cherokee people in this area. After enjoying the important history lesson, be sure to notice the outstanding workmanship of the kiosk itself. Dallas Shelp and Ben Banick did an amazing job. The kiosk was made possible with support from the Cherokee Preservation Foundation, the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, North Carolina Arts Council and Macon County.

A huge THANK YOU to United Community Bank Foundation. Tim Eller and Jennifer Levesque from United Community Bank were at Cowee School Arts and Heritage Center this morning to present a check to Board Chair Anne Hyder and Executive Director Will Anderson. This donation will have a tremendous impact on the work Cowee School is doing in the community and we are so grateful for their generous gift!
