Had the honor and privilege of providing the lighting, video, and DJ services for the very first Boots & Braids Country Night Daddy-Daughter Dance this past Saturday at Worldwide Stages in Spring Hill, TN 🤠💃

This incredible event was presented by Douglas Androsky —Founder & President of Fathering the Fatherless—and author of the upcoming Built to Father Book Trilogy.

From the first song to the last dance, the room was filled with smiles, laughter, and unforgettable daddy-daughter moments ❤️

For an inaugural event… I’d call it a huge success! Can’t wait to see this grow into something even bigger next year.

Back in September, I got a message from a bride who had heard my DJ Special Ed mixes playing at an Orangetheory studio I used to coach at (thank you Coach Bird Thompson for bumpin' my mixes 😉)....

She said she loved the vibe of my mashups and asked if I traveled to DJ weddings.

“Absolutely,” I told her.

Then she asked… “Out of the country?”

Now that was a first. 🤔

After a few conversations and a deep dive into logistics, she shared the vision:
A destination wedding in Roatán, Honduras…
Beach ceremony… poolside reception… at the beautiful Kimpton Grand Roatan Resort & Spa

At that point, I was equal parts excited and thinking, is this really happening?!

Fast forward to last week…

I had the incredible honor of DJing the wedding of two amazing people, Shelly & Todd... and wow, what a celebration it was!

An unforgettable beachfront ceremony with a breathtaking sunset… 🌅
A packed dance floor under the palms and stars… 💃🕺
And the night ending with a fireworks finale that lit up the sky. 🎆

Moments like this are why I love what I do.

Shelly & Todd, thank you so much for trusting me to be part of such a special day and for bringing me all the way from Nashville to Honduras to celebrate with you!

Wishing you a lifetime of love, happiness, and of course… great music! 🎶

There’s a certain kind of magic in the air when you’re in Lake Lure, North Carolina… and if you know, you know—it’s the home of Dirty Dancing.

So when it came time to close out Brianna & Andrew’s wedding night, there was only one song that made sense… (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life 💃🕺

The dance floor was packed, the energy was electric, and every single person was singing, smiling, and soaking in the moment. This is what it’s all about.

Congratulations again to Brianna & Andrew—what a night to remember! And a huge thank you to Nicole & Josh Dugan, my friends from Vero Beach, for trusting me to be part of such an incredible celebration.
