Were you a 4-H kid for 10 years?
A volunteer for 20?
A Fair Board member, superintendent, parent, buyer, exhibitor, vendor, supporter — or maybe your family has been involved for generations?

We, the VenanVenango County Fair Alumnie been given fun challenge:

💛 Donate $1 for every year you’ve been involved with the Venango County Fair!

5 years = $5
18 years = $18
35 years = $35
50 years = $50 😍

And right now, your gift goes twice as far! An anonymous donor is matching gifts to the Venango County Fair Alumni Fund up to $10,000 through December 1.

Every dollar helps us work toward a permanent home for the photographs, ribbons, trophies, records, memorabilia and stories that make up more than seven decades of Venango County Fair history.

🚨 THE FAIR NEEDS MORE PEOPLE — NOT JUST MORE IDEAS. 🚨

In order to grow the fair and our activities we must grow our volunteer resources.

And here’s the important part:

You do NOT have to be on the Fair Board to help.

We are working to build volunteer committees and project teams made up of people from our community who want to help in whatever way fits them best.

Maybe you:

🎤 love planning events
🌾 know livestock or agriculture
💸 are great at fundraising or finding sponsors
🛠️ can build or fix things
🎄 enjoy decorating
📳 know social media
📸 take great photos or videos
🤹🏼 want to help with youth activities
💡 have ideas for Fair week
⛺️ can help with camping, rentals, exhibits, grounds, entertainment or vendors
⌚️ only have a few hours to give
🙋🏽 or have absolutely no idea where you fit but want to help

👉🏼WE WANT YOU.👈🏼

We are also measuring interest in a possible Junior Fair Board for young people who want to get involved, build leadership skills and have a real voice in the future of the Fair.

This is just an interest survey — filling it out does not lock you into a committee, monthly meetings or a lifetime sentence at the fairgrounds. 😂

It simply helps us find the people, skills and ideas already sitting right here in our community.
