We’ve always loved the true story of the Christmas Truce that happened during World War I. On Christmas Eve, soldiers on both sides of this bloody war that took 40 million lives, laid down their guns and literally met in the middle… with wine, ci**rs and soccer balls. We took some inspiration from that story when we wrote this song. Hope it helps to help get you in the Christmas Spirit!
