Light and Life.

Nobody knows about this picture and, after almost 20 years, I’m going to give it life!

A friend called me a few days ago and asked,

“Hey Mark, which picture is your favorite?”

That’s hard question because it really depends what’s happening in my life…

Sometimes I need to see “Healing” or “The First Stone” or something light and faithful like “Walking on Water”.

But most of the time my answer is “Progression”

Since I started making art, I have sold 57 of them… total

That is very, very, few by comparison to most of our other images.

It’s a mystery to me.

But maybe I love it because I was there when we made it.

I sat for hours and thought about how to portray that moment before Jesus asked His Father to “Remove this cup”.

Meditating on that thought affected my heart to the point that by the time I aimed the camera, I had so much love in my heart that

all I had to do was look at the scene and I felt something.

That feeling has never left me.

To me “Progression” has become like a mirror that reflects how I’m currently feeling about Jesus Christ .

I hope you can take a moment and look at it and feel something too.

Thank you,

Mark

“Eyes on Jesus“ has become one of our most popular pieces of art.

“Into the deep“ is that moment when you find yourself sitting on the boat, nets empty, feeling out of options… and not yet recognizing that the eyes of the Lord are upon you.

“Heart overboard“ as for that moment when the nets are full and we decide to leave them and follow Jesus and find true Joy.

“Calming the storm“ is a reminder that even though a storm rage is all around us, we can find peace in proximity to Jesus.

“Into the deep” is available in both portrait and landscape orientations
