A New Chapter for Trails to Ales Brewery.
When we opened Trails to Ales in 2018, we hoped to create a place where people could gather, enjoy good food and great b**r, and feel at home in downtown Franklin. We also believed the brewery could help spark continued growth downtownβencouraging more businesses to open, supporting our neighbors, and attracting more visitors to experience our wonderful town.
With the support of this community and the hard work of our dedicated staff, Trails has grown to two Franklin locations, providing more than 50 full- and part-time jobs. We are proud of that growth, but even more grateful for the people who have made it possible. Watching downtown Franklin grow and knowing we have played a small part in that journey has been especially rewarding to all of us!
To everyone who has shared a meal, celebrated a milestone, enjoyed a show, brought a friend, or simply made Trails part of your routineβthank you. Your support has meant more to us than we can put into words. Being part of Franklinβs story has been a privilege.
Today, we are excited to share that Michelle Anderson will become the next owner of Trails to Ales.
Michelle has been with Trails since shortly after we opened, beginning as a bartender and growing into her role as our manager. Time and again, she has shown her willingness to put in the work, take on challenges, and care for our guests, our staff, and this business. She knows what makes Trails special because she has helped build it.
As the three of us balance other commitments and interests, we believe this is the right time to pass ownership to someone who knows Trails, shares our commitment to Franklin, and is ready to lead its next chapter. In Michelle, we see someone with the experience, dedication, and heart to do just that.
Michelle has our full confidence and wholehearted support. We cannot think of better hands for Trailsβ future.
The transition will take place over the next few months, and we will be working alongside Michelle to help make it a smooth and successful one.
When you see Michelle, we hope youβll take a moment to congratulate her, offer some encouragement, and join us in celebrating this exciting next chapter for both Trails and Michelle. Please give her the same friendship and support you have so generously given us.
We look forward to cheering her onβand sharing many more good times with you at Trails.
With gratitude,
Bernie, Jasen, and Dave
