Good morning! A huge shout-out to everyone who came to the June rodeo! We sure had fun with you! We do need to address a few rule updates and send out a few reminders! First up! Remember, there isn't a July rodeo. It's way too hot for kids and critters. HOWEVER, call in (email only) does open for the August rodeo, tomorrow, June 17th, at noon. We have some fun things in store for the August rodeo, so keep an eye out for information! Keep in mind that there will NOT be a slack offered in August. We've said it before, but with the number of competitors we have, Slack loses the organization $$, and that's just not something we can do. We truly appreciate your understanding. Hopefully, with nearly a month and a half break, everyone will be able to make it to perf! We are working on events for September and October that will allow us to cover the additional costs of SLACK so we can get back to it then! PLEASE STAY TUNED!

If you haven't already, please fill out the survey you received by email! If you didn't get it, please check your junk file or you can access it on this page.

RULE UPDATES
On the roping end, after much conversation with the roping director, judges, and others, the following rules are now in effect:
The let-out gate will remain OPEN for all events involving calves EXCEPT for tie-down roping. The gate will be closed for tie-down.
The let-out gate will remain CLOSED for all events involving the steers.
Ribbon Do**in will require a barrier.

We hope you enjoy this video of a few special guests we had in the crow's nest on Saturday! The rodeo must go on even if babies need special care, so they just come to the rodeo! You have to watch out for those monkeys, though! They are mean critters! 🤣

For those brave few who decided to enter the trail course, here it is. I grabbed a lesson Pony from one of the kids and jumped on, so I hope you get a giggle out of these impressive skills!🥸😂
Don’t forget that we will have a broom polo in the arena Friday night after Slack. Bring your own broom! You just might be better at it than I am.
Trail course rules everyone starts with 100 points. Contestant will lose 10 points for anything not fully completed properly. Contestant will lose 15 points for any refusals. Contestant will lose 10 points for every minute they go over the maximum time. With a no time if it takes more than 10 minutes for peewees 8 minutes for youth and 5 minutes for jr/sr/adults . Official time, Pee-wee have 8 minutes to complete the course, youth have 8 minutes, junior senior, and adult have 5 minutes. There are 5 points added if they complete under the time.
Time frame will be 11-2. The course may be completed anytime within that timeframe.

Good morning!
Attention CURRENT and FORMER Members, parents, and volunteers!
Thank you for being part of our SAY family. Your support, participation, and feedback have helped us grow, learn, and continually improve. Our goal is to make SAY the very best organization it can be for our members and rodeo families.
We would greatly appreciate a few moments of your time to complete our survey. Whether you are a current member who continues to participate or a former member who has chosen to move on, your perspective is valuable to us. We would love to learn what keeps you involved with SAY or what factors influenced your decision to leave.
Your feedback will help us identify areas for improvement and better serve our rodeo community. The survey is completely anonymous and will remain confidential unless you choose to include your name.
Feel free to fill out more than one if you are/were any combination of parent/volunteer/contestant. You are welcome to share your views from all areas in which you participated.
Thank you for your time, your honesty, and your continued support. We truly value your input and look forward to learning how we can make SAY even better for everyone.
