Words to sing by Words and music, they belong together. I have the words now let's make some music.

Words to Sing by is a place where people can go to find words to fit there music, collaborate words and music, or just get ideas of how to find a way to express the feelings they feel and put those feelings into words to perhaps later add to music. Not all people have the ability to express emotions on paper in a way that rhymes or flows the way that is needed to fit a song or a poem. It is my goa

l to help someone achieve there goal whether it be creating a song or a hand made "Hallmark" card for a loved one. I have had good experiences throughout my life with using words as a means of expression and I would like to help you in any way that I can. If you have an emotion you would like to express you may read one of my publishes and feel like I have already said exactly what you feel right now or perhaps you can give me a brief description of what is going on in your life and I can use words to help you express yourself. If my words can make someone angry, sad, happy or any other emotion then my words have accomplished what was intended.

Everything that I say never comes out right
Every single day and every single night
It's never been my objective to be always right
But in my perspective it's not worth the fight
I don't want to argue I don't like confrontation
I said nothing about you that's your imagination
I always say sorry when it's not my fault
I don't even know if we're in love at all

I cant remember if I've ever posted this or not but I like it and hope you do too. I call it: DADS ADVICE

Like an old pair of jeans that don't fit any more but you still keep them folded in your dresser drawer sometimes you gotta let go sometimes you gotta learn the meaning of no.

The Easter egg that no one could find is the rotten egg that got left behind and the black sheep of the family still has a place in the Family Tree.

The tail don't wag the dog. Makeup on a pig is still a hog. It's youngest to oldest lady's first. Your best foot forward is sometimes your worst.

Yes Sir, no ma'am, thank you please. Your greatest strength is on your knees. It's one of a father's greatest joys sharing words of wisdom with his girls and boys.

Teach them how to turn a wrench and how to mow the front lawn, how to take care of a pet and how to put their makeup on wrong.

Stand up for what is right have the strength to walk away from a fight darkness always flees from light
climbing takes you to new heights

Not every child gets the privilege of hearing dad's advice while growing up
So I tried to write down the best of them
So I could share them with my best friends.

A dad won't always be around it's sad but very true. It's not about the dad who made it's about the dad who raised you.

If working till your 65 is something you have to do then doing what you love won't seem like work to you and you'll never work a day in your life providing for your kids and wife

Hold your head high when burdened with a heavy load dandelion weeds still grow through cracks in the road. Water is wet, fire is hot. Don't put all your baskets in the same pot.

Don't bite the hand that feeds you and always watch your back. Life's like a box of chocolates and That's a fact Jack

Keep your good friends close and your enemies closer. Not everything will have a need for closure. Snitches get stitches and Dead men don't tell lie's. Mother's always right so don't act so surprised.

Children are the future so teach them how to win. Whenever one door closes a new season begins. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth or try to keep up with the Joneses. Don't step on a sidewalk crack or you'll break your grandma's bones's.

Not everything that glitters is gold sometimes shiny things are old. Always doing what you're told can sometimes leave you in the cold.

You'll never fail if you never try. Don't ever make your mother cry. On winds beneath your wings you'll fly. We'll meet again in the Bye and bye.

REFLECTIONS

I met you when I was 32
You were 28 on our 1st date
It was love at 1st site it felt so right
Like birds of a feather we stuck together

Everyone knew about me and you
And how when we met you won a bet
The times that we had the good and the bad
The love that we share is apparently rare

We were good parents with chores chart's and stars
We set all the standards and raised all the bars
Our children are all grown and have all moved out
God gave us a story worth talking about

It seems everyday someone will say
I heard about your troubles and doubt
The highs and the lows that everyone knows
With love in our heart we never fell apart

We never knew that while going through
The difficult times nickels and dimes
The struggles so real were sharing 1 meal
An abundance of joy can come from 1 toy

We learned to be humble and give when we get
The time that we shared we will never forget
The camping the hiking the free stuff we did
Are things you remember when you are a kid

And when you're an adult reflecting on life
And all that you did that was wrong and or right
All the mistakes that were made along the way
Are the reason you are who you are today
