Spend a Fall weekend in Historic Franklin, North Carolina and take in all the family fun of the 26th Annual PumpkinFest! You can take part in some traditional and some very non-traditiona

l fall festivities. Bring your pumpkin (or purchase one downtown) and sign up early for the World Famous PUMPKINFEST Pumpkin Roll. Also partcipate in or see the Costume Contest & Parade and more! There are plenty of FREE activities for the kids including two Kid's Zones featuring inflatables, and many of activities. Plus the streets are filled with nearly 80 booths featuring arts & crafts, fabulous festival food, and more. So come to Historic Franklin, NC for a great day of fun for the entire family during the 22nd Annual Pumpkinfest scheduled for Saturday, October 22, 2022! PumpkinFest is sponsored by the Town of Franklin, North Carolina.

Congratulations to Oaks Webb the winner of the "2025 World Famous Pumpkin Roll"! Oaks is from southeastern North Carolina and takes home a trophy and $100 cash for his efforts. And of course, bragging rights as the Pumpkin Roll Winner! Oaks was entry number #501 and his pumpkin rolled 704 feet! Congratulations Oaks!! Hope to see you again next year to defend your title!! Another successful PumpkinFest is in the history books we THANK YOU for attending! Next year will be an even bigger festival as we celebrate our 30th Anniversary! The date is Saturday, October 17, 2026. Mark it on your calendar now and join with us!

It takes so many people to make PumpkinFest happen. We thank our wonderful vendors (over 100 of them) for joining with us, the festival volunteers and our co-sponsors: Angel Medical Center, Sanctuary Village, RE/MAX Elite Realty and Franklin Power Sports.

It is always a fun time at Franklin, NC's PumpkinFest! This Saturday, October 18th, there will be several special characters roving the streets including a stilt walking scarecrow, a little shark and an orange dog!!

Plus, there are many free activities too including FREE pony rides and FREE balloon twister (Blake the Balloon Guy) in the Kids Zone area!
