Change/ The Only Thing We Can Count On
Many of you already know that SouthGate Studio at the Factory at Franklin is transitioning. After being shut down due to Covid for 17 months, then reopening for a year, only to leave The Factory due to the Facility being sold. I was hard felt after being there for 21 years...
Moving home, then a four month build out of Pat's new studio, which we built ourselves ... taking longer than our 20 year younger selves would have done!
As we move forward, we have embraced the change as just being that. It's change, something that can be so difficult but the one thing in life that we can all relate to. Jody accepted this sooner than me, he chose to view this as an opportunity and was my cheerleader as we forged onward.
Although we have not replaced our teaching facility, still exploring options, we have resumed some limited teaching to pre existing students. It was so heart warming to see them again! We will continue to stay in touch with our art community that is more dear to us than we can express.
In the meantime, we are painting again, and hope that those of you that paint are also painting!
We were hoping to have a big year end studio sale, but the in person did not happen. For those of you interested, we do have some online offerings.
