Mark and I purchased an old apple packing barn in January 2008. It was our dream to transform it into our studio and gallery. We worked for a year and 10 months, until, finally, on October 19, 2009, Macon county code enforcement gave us our certificate of occupancy. We didn't have a dime left for advertising, so we popped a couple of "Open" signs in the ground and waved to people! 2009 was, probably, the WORST time to open an art gallery! And yet, here we are 10 years later! We want to thank all of the incredibly gifted artists we've had the tremendous privilege to represent and show their artwork over the past decade. It has truly been our honor to know each of you and be inspired by your talents. We, also, want to thank all of our great customers. Thank you for supporting our local artists. We've enjoyed meeting you all and making you our friends. You all have blessed our lives for the past decade and we are looking forward to serving you and our community for the next decade. ❤️

We had a great time at John C Campbell Fall Festival! Said Goodbye to this piece, "Letting Go!". It has a new home with Susan Rosenberger in Murphy! Yay! We, also, said Farewell to Mark's piece "Boy on Dock". He's found a home in Brasstown. Awesome weekend!

Tsartistry will be closed Friday and Saturday, October 4th and 5th. Mark and CynDe will be at John C Campbell's Fall Festival in Brasstown, NC. The Festival is Saturday and Sunday October 5th & 6th. Tsartistry's booth is #73. Come out and see us! The weather should be gorgeous and there's tons of things to do and see!

In celebration of my 60th birthday back in March, I created this quilt, "The Times of My Life". I have been every person in this quilt with the exception of the oldest woman at the end (even though, many mornings my body would disagree!). It has been a beautiful life, so far, and I am so blessed to have shared it with the people I love the most - Mark, my mom, my sisters and my kids and grandkids. Thank you God!
