I love to teach what I know and share techniques and ideas with others. I will be teaching a grant funded workshop at the Cowee School Arts & Heritage Center, Saturday, July 27, 10am - 1pm, and is absolutely free to attendees.

I first taught this workshop in Wales, this past October, and it was exhilarating for the students and me. (see pics)

The workshop combines drawing in the landscape with gathering leaves, flora, other textures from which to make graphite rubbings in the studio. Our day’s experience will become a visual history, using the language of line, shape, rubbings and textures on strips of rice paper.

The 2024 calendars, featuring images of my mixed media paintings and collages, arrived today! I couldn't be happier with the quality of the printing. I also like that they are spiral bound, as calendars stapled centers tend to give out easily.

Dimensions: 11.75" x 8.5" folded, 23.5" x 8.5" opened for hanging
Cost: $22 each plus shipping.

There is always something unexpected to see.
