EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT! Liz Chaverst is one of our newest Assistant Managers & is in charge of our merch selection! We love Liz & the way she leads the morning staff, & for her rambunctious sense of humor & uber-contagious laugh :)

1. How long have you been at the market?

Since August of 2020

2. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Hanging with my sons, Carter and Carson♡

3. What's your favorite thing about the market?

Definitely our regulars! It's such a joy seeing their smiling faces everyday!

4. What's something interesting about yourself most people might not know?

I'm a rare children's cancer survivor and have a gnarly scar from it 🤘

5. If you could spend an entire day with any person - living or dead - who would it be? Why?

I'd spend the day with my grandpa, John Lewis Burdette. He had so many stories left untold that I didn't get to hear. 💔

6. Tell us a little bit about the merch project you're in charge of & why you enjoy doing it :)

So I designed all of our hats and shirts for the market! I really enjoy coming up with the designs but its really amazing to see people out and about wearing them!🤩🥰 Plus I'm looking forward to expanding our merch selection!

“The relationships of the staff”

3. You're quite the movie buff, what's your favorite movie to watch, & why?

“Remember the Titans because it paints the picture of realizing and accepting people as people and being selfless and its just a super good movie”

4. If there were one artist you had to listen to for the next year, who would it be?

“Alan Jackson or George Strait because their music puts me in a better mood”

5. What's something interesting about you that people may not expect?

“I’m Mexican hahah”
