He has played piano, organ or accordion with Bonnie Raitt, Levon Helm, Sonny Landreth, Shemekia Copeland, Kris Kristofferson, Kenny Loggins, and a multitude of others.

A master songwriter, Steve’s music reflects the depth and diversity of his

Steve’s band is equally seasoned with world-class chops, and “in the pocket” stage camaraderie and performance.

Mike Joyce is a Grammy-winning bassist and songwriter who has
performed and recorded with dozens of artists, including Roy Orbison,
Roger Miller, John Hiatt, Jimmy Hall, and Delbert McClinton.

Drummer Lynn Williams has recorded and toured extensively with John
Hiatt, The Wallflowers, Delbert McClinton and many others, including
recent dates with the legendary Hank Jr.

Famed Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh once heard Joe Davies playing guitar in a music store and introduced himself because he assumed he must be famous. He should be.

With a US Music Row radio charting debut song and glowing feature from Billboard and NPR, THE WOOD’S are quickly becoming Nashville’s next band to watch.

Their musicianship and unique three-part harmony has garnered them spots opening for The Cadillac Three, Drake White and they just announced dates opening for Tim McGraw on their first arena tour this Spring.

Their roots are steeped in the folk and classic rock sounds of the 1960s and 70s but at the same time The Wood’s manage to evoke something fresh and timely.

Bringing back something old to make something new in the landscape of country music, they don’t sound like anyone else and they wouldn't have it any other way.

Kent Blazy creates songs with enduring melodies and authentic, straight-outta-life lyrics. That’s the combination that has catapulted his songs to the top of the charts time after time after time.

Kent penned seven No. 1 hits, including “If Tomorrow Never Comes,” Garth Brooks’ first #1 single, co-written with Brooks. The Blazy/Brooks collaboration also delivered"Ain't Goin' Down ('Til the Sun Comes Up)," "It's Midnight Cinderella," "She's Gonna Make It," "Somewhere Other Than the Night.” Blazy also gets co-credit for the George Jones and Garth Brooks duet "B**r Run (B Double E Double Are You In?)."

Kent’s induction into the Nashville Songwriter’s Hall of Fame is a seal of approval.

“It’s the highest honor a Nashville songwriter can have, and I am grateful for all the writers who helped me get there,” Blazy said of his induction into the prestigious Hall. “I keep pinching myself that my distant dream is truly a reality.”

Joining Kent at Fox & Locke for the night of hits is His Incredible Band - bassist Lee Francis, drummer Kevin Murphy, both on loan from Jon Pardi’s band. His Incredible Band guitarist, Steve Allen, is part of The Long Players, and formerly with L.A.-based “power pop” band 20/20.

Kent is a prolific songwriter and artist, with three albums released since 2022, “For The Byrds,” with Lee, Kevin and Steve, “From The Beatles to The Bluebird,” a fan favorite, and Kent’s most recent release, “Where I Am Now.”

Hearing Kent Blazy at Fox & Locke, 8pm Oct. 9th, is the opportunity for fans to get up-close and personal to songwriting royalty!
