James Slater and Blessing Offor, widely-celebrated, Grammy Award-nominated artists, are making their Fox & Locke debut with their unique dueling pianos performance! Slater and Blessing will spend the evening at their respective keyboards, swapping original songs and sharing some of their favorite stories.

James Slater is a two time, Grammy nominated, piano-playing, singer-songwriter with hits by Willie Nelson, Alabama, Reba, and Tim McGraw, among many others. His Grammy nods include Jamey Johnson's "The High Cost of Living" for Country Song of the Year, and Martina's “In My Daughter’s Eyes”, which has become a modern-day standard.

Gordon Scott Kennedy is a Grammy-winning songwriter, producer, guitarist, and musician based in Nashville, TN.

Born in Shreveport, Louisiana and raised in Nashville, he is the son of legendary producer/guitarist Jerry Kennedy. Kennedy first gained prominence as a member of the Christian rock band White Heart (1984–1990) before forming Dogs of Peace.
His biggest hit, co-written with Wayne Kirkpatrick and Tommy Sims, is “Change the World” — a global No. 1 for Eric Clapton that earned Kennedy the 1997 Grammy for Song of the Year.

He has written for Garth Brooks (snd tours with Garth!) Wynonna, Bonnie Raitt, and many others, and produced Grammy-winning projects for Peter Frampton and Ricky Skaggs.

Saturday, May 16th 8pm* HeavyDrunk and Watermelon Slim

Nashville-based Rhythm & Blues band, HeavyDrunk, bristles with kinetic, freewheeling energy and soul. Joined by 21-time blues award nominee Watermelon Slim, this night of Mississippi Delta Blues is not to be missed!

Rob and Slim met in Clarksdale, and played a few shows together before they decided to take the Combo to Europe. Next thing you know they are at Dial Back Sound in Water Valley, Mississippi, cutting a record.

Slim's harmonica sounds right at home with the heavy horns and steel drums as they keep time for the pedal steel guitar.
