Forever part of the team, Mom ❤️

The First Annual Donna M. Drake “Nanny” Memorial Race was created to honor the life of a woman who meant the world to so many.

Donna, known lovingly as “Nanny,” had a heart that was bigger than life itself. She was the kind of person who made everyone feel like family — whether you had known her for years or had just met her. Her kindness, laughter, and unwavering love for those around her left a lasting mark on everyone lucky enough to know her.

One of Donna’s favorite places in the world was the race track. The sound of the carts, the excitement in the air and watching her girls race — it was where she felt at home. More than anything, she loved watching the people she loved race and cheering them on with pride. If you were out on that track, you could count on hearing Nanny in the stands, supporting you every step of the way.

She loved the racing community and the friendships that came with it. To her, the track wasn’t just a place to watch races — it was a place where memories were made, stories were shared, and families came together.

This event was created to celebrate Donna’s life, her love for racing, and the incredible impact she had on those around her. It’s a chance for friends, family, and the racing community to come together, remember her, and keep her spirit alive in a place she loved so much.

We invite everyone to come out, support the event, and be part of something special. Whether you knew Donna personally or simply share a love for racing, your presence helps keep her memory alive.

Because if there’s one thing we know for sure…
Nanny would love seeing everyone together at the track.
