Here are some Raku pieces made by potter and Instructor, Lynne Kain. Raku is an atmospheric firing technique that originated in Japan. It is a process that takes the pieces out of the kiln at around 1900 degrees to change the glaze or surface with combustible materials. Learn about and even test this technique out in our September pottery class. Register for Monday Nights online. It starts on September 7!
