AND THEN THERE WERE TWO!

As the curtain goes up on our final dress rehearsal, we'd like to introduce you to the final two performers in our talented cast: Mary Kay Ferguson and Pam Adams!

But, before we do that, don't forget to purchase your tickets to this weekend's performances of BULL IN A CHINA SHOP. We open in exactly 24 hours! Reserve your tickets today at ccctonline.org or follow the link below!

MARY KAY FERGUSON (“Miss Birdie”) is excited to be back performing with CCCT for the third time, following Marquis Crossing Ladies Society’s First Attempt at Murder and our last show, Tangled Webbs. She has also performed with the Duck Creek Players in Elwood, and the Center Stage Community Theatre in Lebanon, where she recently played Rose in A Lacey Summer. Mary Kay is a published author with stage writing and directing credits as well. She would like to thank Eric and Jackae for casting her in this fun production. And now that she lives in Rossville, the shorter drive to Frankfort has been a joy. Enjoy the show!

PAMELA ADAMS (“Miss Nettie”) was last seen on stage as Adrienne in A Bench in the Sun. She is happy to be back and sharing the stage with old and new friends. In her spare time, Pamela enjoys working on home projects, traveling, writing songs and poetry, reading all kinds of literature, watching movies, and spending time in nature. She and husband, Eric, have become first-time grandparents and are over the moon in love with 7-month-old, Cora June. Pamela is finishing up her 13th and final year as a kindergarten music teacher in West Lafayette. She and Eric plan on moving closer to their little June Bug later this year.

Grab your tickets before they're gone, and we will see you at the theatre this weekend!!!

SIX DOWN, FOUR TO GO!

CCCT is excited to welcome Kayla Gill and Scott Haan back to the Skanta Theatre stage after a brief absence on the boards. Please help us welcome them back to the boards! Make sure to visit ccctonline.org or click the link below to reserve your seats to BULL IN THE CHINA SHOP this weekend! You don't want to miss it!

KAYLA GILL (“Miss Amantha”) is making her third appearance on the CCCT stage, last being seen in A Nice Family Christmas. Kayla has been heavily involved on-and-off the stage as both actor and director for over 100 theatrical productions, such as Boys Next Door, Into the Woods, It’s a Wonderful Life, and Little Shop of Horrors. She is grateful to work with such a talented cast/crew and for the opportunity to play Amantha again after playing the role many years ago in high school. She would like to thank her daughter for her encouragement, and her parents for attending all but one of her projects in over 20 years.

SCOTT HAAN (“Johnson”) is appearing with CCCT for the 29th time as an actor, has directed 4 shows here, and has served on our Board of Directors since 2006. A published playwright, Scott’s writing career began when CCCT debuted his first play, Insane with Power, in 2007. Since then, his 30+ published plays have been performed by over 1,800 schools and theatres in all 50 states, plus 10 other countries. Scott has worked for the Purdue College of Agriculture since 2018. He wants to thank his wonderful family – wife Rhonda and children Xander and Susan – for their love and support, and our amazing CCCT audiences for coming to the show!

Welcome back to the boards, Kayla and Scott! We can't wait to see what you have in store for our audiences this weekend!

CAST INTRODUCTIONS: DAY #2!

We had so much fun introducing four of the cast members yesterday that we're chomping at the bit to introduce more. BULL IN THE CHINA SHOP opens TOMORROW at 7:30 PM in the Skanta Theatre at the Frankfort Public Community Library! We hope you'll join this talented cast this weekend for a raucous good time!

Up next for our cast introductions are newcomer Michael Immel and a recent familiar face, Marcella Holmes. Please help us welcome them to the CCCT stage!

MICHAEL IMMEL (“Kramer”) – Born in Hollywood and reared in Indiana, Michael returned west to become a professional actor. He has worked in movies, commercials, radio, and TV and on stages from Tokyo to Berlin. He toured the U.S. with Sesame Street Live. On WGN-TV’s Bozo Show, Michael was Spiffy the Clown for three seasons. Between acting gigs, he taught elementary school and has been an adjunct professor at Chapman University and CSULA. As an ESL teacher, he had gigs in Korea, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Mauritania. A private pilot, he now anticipates flying his newly purchased Piper Tri-Pacer.

MARCELLA HOLMES (“Miss Hildegarde”) is delighted to return to the CCCT stage for the 4th time in Bull in a China Shop, alongside a wonderful cast under the direction of Eric Adams. After a 29-year career in education in West Lafayette and Frankfort, she’s embracing retirement with more time for the stage, along with her several euchre, book, and dinner clubs. CCCT audiences may remember her from The Widow in Mink, Lickety Split, and Luxury Cruise. She has also performed with Lafayette Civic Theatre and Lafayette Dinner Theatre. She thanks her husband, Randy, now just a bit more careful to stay on her good side, for his unwavering support!

Purchase your tickets to BULL IN A CHINA SHOP by visiting ccctonline.org or by clicking the link below. We can't wait to entertain you this weekend!

CAST INTROS #2

Now that we've met Richie and Ellen, we'd like to introduce two of the core members of our mysterious group of tea-loving, gossip-sharing, crime-infatuated group: Chris Lesley and Linda Mackey!

CHRIS LESLEY (“Miss Elizabeth”) is making her 27th CCCT appearance, having most recently acted in Luxury Cruise. Her favorite roles include Truvy in Steel Magnolias, Bea in The Charitable Sisterhood of the Second Trinity Victory Church, and Honey Raye, Lexie, Norleen, Monette, Randa, Starla, Lulu/Peggity, and others, in shows by Jones, Hope & Wooten. Chris is currently the Secretary for CCCT’s Board of Directors. She is a lifelong Clinton County resident, married to Jerry, and they are proud Boilermakers! She is a retired HR Specialist for State Farm. When not on stage, she enjoys snuggling with their puggles, music, sports, and her flower gardens.

LINDA MACKEY (“Miss Lucy”) is making her 4th CCCT appearance, following Wild Women of Winedale; Doublewide, Texas (where she was the picture of quiet dignity in a giant adult bunny suit); and Marquis Crossing Ladies Society’s First Attempt at Murder. Another favorite role was Ouiser in the classic Steel Magnolias. The theater bug bit 12 years ago with the production of Bull in a China Shop with Red Brick Theater in Delphi. She most recently appeared there in White Christmas. Linda is a retired RN, groundhog warrior, and barefoot hiker with a record of 23 miles. She gives special thanks to director Eric Adams, bringing his signature skills and style.

Come witness this murderous good time for yourself! Visit ccctonline.org to purchase your tickets today, or visit the link below! We will see you at the theatre!

MEET THE CAST OF BULL IN A CHINA SHOP!

We are two days away from opening night of BULL IN A CHINA SHOP, which means it's time to meet the talented cast of our spring production. Up first are two young veterans of the CCCT stage, Richie Stephan and Ellen Osborne.

RICHIE STEPHAN (“Dennis O’Finn”) is excited to return to the CCCT stage, following his debut in Lickety Splits. He has thoroughly enjoyed working with this stellar cast, many of them for the second time! Richie has recently worked with Civic Theater of Greater Lafayette as The Monster in Young Frankenstein; Robert Grove in The Play that Goes Wrong; and a variety of roles in their Annual Play Festival (where he first met some of the talented people involved in CCCT). Richie wants to thank his fellow cast, crew, director Eric Adams, & Diana Dahl for putting up with his crazy schedule and helping to bring this show to the stage!

ELLEN OSBORNE (“Jane Rogers”) is excited to be returning to the CCCT stage after assistant directing Tangled Webbs in February. Some of her favorite past roles include Phyllis in Play, On!, Joan in The Marquis Crossing Ladies Society’s First Attempt at Murder, and Julie in The Widow in Mink. She has also helped with several shows backstage. Ellen is a lifelong theatre lover and is so grateful to have found a home at CCCT. When not onstage, she enjoys hiking, reading, camping, video games, and seeing almost any movie in theaters. She would like to thank her husband Luke, fur-baby Jack, and her family for their never-ending support and love!
