CONGRATS GRADS & GOOD LUCK IN THE NEW YEAR!

We're a little late to the party, but we wanted to officially congratulate our 2026 Ralph C. "Pete" Peterson Scholarship winners, Izabella Cree and Olivia James, both of Rossville High School. As these young ladies begin their collegiate careers, we wish them the absolute best! We know you'll do great things!

Clinton County Civic Theatre has awarded over $50,000 to local seniors since the Pete Peterson Scholarship began in 1995. For every ticket CCCT sells, $1 goes to our scholarship fund, ensuring we can continue this legacy of supporting local students for generations to come! This, along with your generous donations during intermissions, helps CCCT continue this important work! We take great pride in this contribution as we continue to foster and grow local artists right here in Clinton County! To our patrons, our Board of Directors, and our Scholarship Committee, thank you for making this Scholarship possible! Huzzah, huzzah!

THANK YOU ISN'T ENOUGH

At Sunday's annual meeting, Clinton County Civic Theatre said goodbye to two longtime leaders and creative forces: Eric Adams and Scott Haan. These two men have been cornerstones of our organization for decades, and we'll miss their skills, but we're happy to see them move on to bigger and brighter horizons. Eric and his wife, Pam, recently moved to be closer to their first grandchild, and Scott continues to take on new leadership roles with Purdue University West Lafayette.

Eric stepped down as president after leading us through COVID, helping establish our online ticket sales interface, and bringing us into the modern age through technological advances. As Eric said to our attendees on Sunday, he stepped in with big plans and was the right person for the job when we needed him. We couldn't agree more! We appreciate all you've done in all your years, not only as board president, but as a director, actor, technician, and passionate supporter of all things CCCT. Though you may be further away, we hope we'll still see you and Pam at many future shows.

Scott stepped down as Vice President last year, but served one more year on the board of directors to help transition his duties. Scott has long been a key behind-the-scenes contributor, designing our show programs and posters and helping with all things CCCT marketing. The countless hours he's put in may go unnoticed by the general public, but everyone who has ever served on the board or worked on a show with CCCT knows how big the shoes, both figuratively and literally, Scott leaves. We cannot thank Scott enough for his years of generous service to our organization and wish him the best of luck in his future leadership roles! We look forward to seeing you, Rhonda, Xander, and Susan at shows for years to come!

Pictured is newly elected president Carol Price gifting Eric and Scott Frankfort/Clinton County-themed gifts. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Also elected at this year's annual meeting were Vice President Luke McLaughlin, Treasurer Larry Price, Secretary Chris Lesley, and Board Members Marcella Holmes and Steve Walter.

SEASON 37 TICKETS - AVAILABLE NOW!

The summer season is coming to an end, which means the board of directors and the creative team's planning for our 37th season are in full swing! With the announcement of auditions on Sunday, August 23rd, for our inaugural show of the season, we want to take a moment to remind you that season tickets are available for purchase at www.ccctonline.org or by calling (765) 601-3904!

2026-2027 Clinton County Civic Theatre season tickets are still available at the low, low price of $30 for our three-show package. Our partnership with the Frankfort Community Library, along with generous donations from patrons and local businesses, has enabled us to keep our prices well below those of other theatres in the area. $30 for three shows is an INCREDIBLE value, especially as the cost of show rights and production costs continue to rise. We thank you for helping make this possible, for your continued support of the arts in Clinton County, and for making Frankfort and Clinton County a vibrant place to live and work. We can't wait to see you at the theatre!

Clinton County Civic Theatre will hold auditions for its October 2026 show, “Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors,” on Sunday, August 23rd at 6:30 PM inside the Skanta Theatre at the Frankfort Community Public Library. "Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors” will play Thursday, October 8th, through Sunday, October 11th, serving as a perfect treat to kick off the Halloween season. Director Luke McLaughlin and Assistant Director Carol Price are practically chomping at the bit to get started on this biting comedy! (Puns intended!) Those planning to audition should use the back entry off the alley to enter the library. There are five roles available; each role will play upwards of six different characters throughout the show, making this a very different beginning for a special season!

The Story: “Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors” is loosely based on Bram Stoker's 1897 classic novel, “Dracula.” Ever wondered what would happen if you took Stoker’s legendary vampire tale and put it in a blender with Mel Brooks and Monty Python? That’s what happens in this lightning-fast, laugh-out-loud, 90-minute, gender-bending, genre-defying romp. When Mina Westfeldt falls ill with a mysterious disease of the blood, Lucy Westfeldt and her fiancé, Jonathan Harker, enlist the help of famed vampire hunter, Doctor Van Helsing. Their hunt for the dangerous, and sexy, Count Dracula abounds with clever wordplay and quick-change antics. Five actors portray over a dozen roles in the bloodcurdling, hilarious send-up of the literary classic!
