SAND LAKE you guys did it again.

Another summer comedy night in the books at Sand Lake Micro Brewery, and we just want to say THANK YOU to everybody who came out and spent their Friday night laughing with us!

Huge thanks to Bill Bushart and Dan Brittain for bringing the funny, and a VERY special shoutout to Skylar “New Guy” Ley, who stepped behind the mic for The Comedy Series for the very first time like a pro!

There’s just something about comedy outside on that patio …cold drinks, good people, a little small town Michigan summer air and a whole bunch of laughing.

When you see sponsor logos on our comedy flyers, please know those businesses are a BIG reason we can keep bringing professional comedy to small town Michigan without big city ticket prices OR those annoying online ticket fees.

Getting nationally touring comedians into some of our little towns takes a little extra work. Let’s just say… East Tawas International Airport isn’t exactly packed with incoming flights. 🤣 Travel, hotels, logistics …it all adds up.

And that’s where incredible local businesses step in.

One family that has continued to show up for us again and again is Streeter Brothers — Greg & Kathy and their son Joe, pictured here. They have supported The Comedy Series in a HUGE way, helping us keep tickets affordable while still bringing audiences the kind of comedians and shows you’d expect to see at a major comedy club.

And they’re not alone. Every town has businesses that step up beside us.
