Neskaya

Neskaya is a non-profit movement arts center in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

Nestled in the heart of the White Mountains of New Hampshire, minutes from Cannon Mt. and Franconia Notch State Park, Neskaya was created to be sacred space for movement disciplines that are also spiritual practices. The building has a sprung floor designed for dancers and martial arts practitioners. The arched roof creates a sense of spaciousness and provides splendid acoustics. It offers ongoing

classes in yoga, dance aerobics, and circle dance as well as workshops promoting personal growth and wellness. It is a serene setting for group events of fewer than 50 people and comfortably accommodates up to 7 overnight guests in a semi-private setting. Handicapped accessible, Neskaya is available for hourly, daily, and weekend use.

Join us to experience a deep sense of community through dance and meaningful connections with participants fostered by Neskaya’s warm and welcoming atmosphere. Enjoy a sprung dance floor that is kind to bodies, and the natural beauty of the Franconia Notch that is kind to the soul. As one past camp participant said, “Neskaya is my dance home.”

Sylvie-Guylaine

We are very excited to announce that Sylvie-Guylaine Fortin will be a featured facilitator for part of dance camp this year. Combining her experience leading circle dance events for 22 years, her 27 years of experience in community counseling work, and facilitating many weekends with ritual for personal growth on various topics, Sylvie-Guylaine promises to be an expert guide for this camp.

-Monthly Sunday Circle Dance and Family Circle Dance Sessions are drop-in and by donation*

-Black Woods Celtic Music from Bethlehem, NH, will be performing on July 24, followed by dancing! Stay tuned for more info.

*Neskaya is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, and right now, we are raising money to help us replace our 25-year-old dance floor! All current donations will go toward helping us meet this goal.
