Francis Frontier Days

Francis Frontier Days Celebrating 30 years, Francis Frontier Days has something for the whole family with a real western down-home atmosphere

On Labor Day, 1983 a small rodeo was held at the Francis Town Park. From those humble beginnings, Francis Frontier Days has grown to a four-day celebration that attracts crowds from all over the State. Frontier Days is held each Labor Day weekend and includes horse pulls, a rodeo, and an all rough stock rodeo (bares, broncs, & bulls). A parade is held Saturday morning and a Vendor booths are open

all weekend. There is a co-ed softball tournament held Saturday and Monday attracting teams from all over the region. A spectacular fireworks display can be enjoyed at the end of the rodeo on Saturday night. New for 2013 will include a spectacular tribute to our veterans, a military flyover,"Dan's Ride", Cowboy Church Sunday Morning, & a Jackpot barrel race Sunday Afternoon. The celebration is growing each year but still affords a great time for the whole family with a real western down-home atmosphere.
