Rock..
57 years ago today we landed on the Moon. That night I was working my gig at the Carousel Theater and the Iron Butterfly were playing. The band and me and the Carousel crew sat around after the show and watched the Moon landing.

60 years ago today I was at the Carousel Theater to see Simon and Garfunkel. There was a Help Wanted sign in the box office and I applied and got the job.

This was the start of my lifetime in the entertainment industry. Was an awesome show and I worked the Carousel the next 4 seasons till they closed in 1969. I graduated school that year then I hitch hiked to California and ended up going on the road with rock bands..

The Tour:
The performance was part of their summer tour immediately following a promotional television trip to Europe.

The Hits:
At the time of this concert, the duo was riding high on the charts with their hit single "I Am A Rock".

The Schedule:
The Framingham show concluded a three-night regional run that included stops at the Malibu Beach Club on Long Island (July 15) and Hampton Beach, New Hampshire (July 16).

The Venue
The Carousel Theatre was a famous 3,000-seat, theatre-in-the-round tent located on Old Connecticut Path. Active primarily in the 1960s, it hosted iconic legendary musicians ranging from Frank Sinatra to Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin before closing at the end of the decade.

We put the Tent up at the beginning of the Season tore it down at the end of the Season, set up the sound and lights, worked all the shows, did security, cleaned the bathrooms and had a whole lot of fun. Rock
