As we reflect on the past fiscal year, we're filled with gratitude for every student, family, educator, and community partner who made this year so meaningful. 💙

Through our arts education programs, Artservatorey reached 180 students across schools, libraries, and community organizations!

This fall we offered an in-school drama residency at Mittineague Elementary School in West Springfield that centered on social and emotional learning and literacy through the arts. Through activities such as tableaus and puppetry, students explored how to bring the book, The Day the Crayons Quit, to life using creative drama. The residency culminated in a school-wide literacy night, with performances and activities where students and families engaged in hands-on STEAM activities designed to reinforce learning and foster a joyful connection to reading and the arts.

Discover the world of art and theatre through books! Enjoy a lively read-aloud, and hands-on activities that bring the story to life. Create an art project inspired by the story, such as a puppet, and then dive into drama by acting out your new creation.
