Cows and fowl were the beginning and sheep were added as our love of the fiber arts came to the forefront.

We have an exciting July coming up. Three great classes are being offered. We will have sign up info soon. They are all on Saturdays.
July 11 Rigid Heddle weaving class from 10 am until 1 pm. Jane Bynum is the instructor. It is limited to 4 people.
July 25. Amazing Angoras. From 10 til 12. Lisa Summey is the instructor. Limit 10 people.
July 25 mushroom and lichen dyeing. From 1 til 4. Cody Hecker is the instructor. Limit 8 people.
Our July Spin In and Craft day will be on the 18th from 10 til 3.
We are part of the NC Yarn Tour in July as well.

Meanwhile, back in the real world we began washing fleeces this week for the mill. It is satisfying but a great deal of work. Tells you how your flock is doing.
We love our sheep. This is Wellington 's fleece. One of our rams.
