Art classes for kids for the school year begin here next week and we have a few spots left! Our in-house community art studio, Make and Believe Artists, runs classes that are creative and fun for preschoolers through high schoolers and even homeschoolers. Kids explore painting, drawing, clay, techniques, art history, famous artists and more! You can read more about it on our website or at mabartists.com.

Just three years ago, Ignite Theatrical began with a dream—to build a place where people matter more than productions, where families could belong, where artists of every age could find a home, and where our community could experience the life-changing power of live theatre.

Today, because of YOU, that dream has been recognized in the most incredible way.

To be named Best Community Theatre in the Upstate is an honor beyond words… especially knowing we were nominated alongside some of the most respected and established community theatres in our region. Because of YOU, Ignite Theatrical, the in-house theater company at the Younts Center, has officially been named a Finalist for Best Community Theatre in this year’s Best of the Upstate awards!

Next week, we’ll find out where we placed in the final rankings, but one thing we already know is that we’re in the Top 3—and that alone is an incredible honor.

To every person who took a moment to vote for us… thank you.
