MEET THE CREATORS — CONNIE from THE PAINTED PHOTOGRAPHER ✨

Connie is a self-taught artist, photographer, designer, educator, and fellow IOD Artisan, and one of the things I love most about her creative style is the way she takes ordinary things and makes you look at them completely differently.

She doesn’t just teach you how to make a project.

She shares how she thinks through color, layering, composition, storytelling, and all of those little details that bring a piece to life.

And that is exactly what makes the Vintage Soul Creative Retreat different.

The wagon is FULL, my heart is happy, and Kevin is now questioning every life choice that led to him becoming my personal vintage-junk sherpa. 😂

He brought the wagon.
I brought the bad decisions.

Today’s mission: find all the vintage treasures I absolutely do not need, convince myself they’re basically investments, and fill that wagon until my husband starts questioning every decision that led him to this moment.

He thinks he’s pulling a wagon.

I know he’s hauling my bad decisions. 😂

🚨 BREAKING NEWS: I’ve apparently made a series of poor life choices.

Today’s “Relative Chaos: Family Take the Wheel” Whatnot show has officially been handed over to Kevin & Collin while I sit back and question every decision that led to this moment.

What could possibly go wrong?

Think of it as:
🫣 Two guys…
📦 A pile of vintage treasures…
💸 And access to my inventory.

Will they know what anything is?
Probably not.

Will they make up descriptions with complete confidence?
Almost certainly.

Will my favorite pieces mysteriously disappear?
I’m emotionally preparing for it
