This is fantastic!

If you’ve been on our campus today, you may have noticed something different—soil drilling and testing is underway! This is a major step in determining whether the new pool can be built. If the site is approved, the THE MCLEAN FOUNDATION and other generous funders are ready to donate the money needed to make it happen. The Gene Lucas Community Center would then own and take on the management of the pool. This would be an incredible gift to the community, and we would be honored to operate and care for it. Exciting progress! (more info and a press release will be out soon)
